Antares is set in the middle of the Marlborough vineyards. With 2 x 2 bedroom apartments & 1 x Studio, plus our new accommodation option - Stars & Vines pod with own private bathroom. The new pod offers a private deck with views over the vineyards to the mountains & of course, the stars at night. The pod comes with a welcome package of Marlborough sparkling wine, with locally made chocolates, mini candles & fresh flowers along with a welcome fruit & cheese platter. The pod has basic kitchen facilities & comes with added option of served breakfast with cooked option. All apartments have access to shared Hot tub & swimming pool with views of gardens, vineyards & surrounding hills & mountains. We have many wineries close by - Herzog's winery is only 5 minutes walk. A stay at Antares is peaceful & relaxing with 4 acres of gardens, lemon grove, & olive trees lining the drive. There are 2 ponds & the gardens attract many native birds, & a wonderful frog chorus at night time. We have bikes for our guests to hire to explore the area.

Antares homestay is set in a quiet location close to the Wairau River & numerous wineries & restaurants. It is a very safe area. The nearest café with shops is the Vines Village which is just over 1 km away. The café has a good children's play area. The nearest supermarket & dairy are situated in Renwick - approximately 5kms away. There is also 2pubs, a butchers, a garage & café in Renwick. Just a short 10 minute drive way is the Omaka Heritage Air Museum & also a Classic car collection.
