The stables accommodation at Bali Garden is situated in the stunning Matakana region. The building itself is a reconstructed stable, having been relocated from the family farm in Wanganui. The footprint and layout has remained in the stable style and allows for an attractive one master bedroom, fully self contained dwelling on a luxurious scale. A full kitchen, laundry and TV area all leading from a central breezeway dining area has utilised the original stable wood of Rimu, Totara and Kauri in the decor. Luxurious linens and towels are provided within the bedroom and two bathrooms of the property. Beautiful bathroom and kitchen complementaries add to the experience. Outdoor flow to a private garden and seating terrace allows for peace and privacy at all times. Relaxation massage and private yoga available on request.

We are proud to invite you to share the experience and history of our place in Matakana, New Zealand. As gardeners and horticulturists, our interest and enjoyment of gardening is showcased through out the property through a tropical Balinese inspired garden. We have travelled extensively ourselves and experienced many types of vacation options, so we have taken ideas from those experiences to offer our guests in what we hope is a relaxing and welcoming environment.

Matakana is less than an hour north of Auckland sitting on the doorstep to world class beaches, it shares its wonderful vibe and cafe culture with those who make the journey. Renown galleries, farmers market, vineyards, unique cinema experiences and varied restaurants all offer the visitor a holiday they will want to keep repeating. Morris & James Pottery, Sculptureum, Brick Bay Sculpture Trail, Tawharanui Regional Park (a mainland island sanctuary), Goat Island (a marine reserve) - and much more is not going to leave you much time free. But you may just wish to laze on one of the many white sand beaches, for a totally relaxed break.
