We live in a double-storey house with the ground and first floors partitioned off with separate access. We live on the first floor and enter via the front (red) door. The ground floor has two guest rooms. The entrance is via the back door, with 24-hour keypad access. The bathroom and toilet are separate, and shared between the two rooms. The bathroom has a shower over the bath, a heated towel rail, and a hairdryer. There is a washing machine and dryer that guests may use. Laundry detergent, an iron, and ironing board are provided. If you are travelling in a group, you may book both guest rooms to have exclusive use of the downstairs area (except the laundry facilities which are shared with us). Please note that full kitchen facilities are not available, however guests do have use of a bar fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, sandwich maker, tea/coffee/drinking chocolate, breakfast cereals/oats, milk, sugar, and margarine. There is parking in front of the house (for one small-medium-sized car per room).

My husband, Joe, and I are often out and about helping with our grandkids. While the accommodation is quite independent, we would be glad to assist with advice or information to make your visit to Auckland more enjoyable, so if you need anything at all, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us via the app, phone, or if we are home, you can ring the doorbell and we will come down.

We are centrally located in a quiet and safe neighbourhood, only 15km from the airport and approximately 7km from the city centre. There is good access to public transport with buses and trains within walking distance. You will also be within walking distance of Cornwall Park, a beautiful large park that is great for walks and cycling!
