Our Studio has been specifically designed to provide a relaxing space for visitors to our special little town. There is a good area for relaxing inside as well as a patio with a partial view of the mountain.(Visitors are welcome to come up and see a full and beautiful view from the garden at the top of the property). The quirky African theme is a point of difference and reflects our heritage.
We are a couple in our early 60s and live in our lovely new home with our dog, Rifka. She barks at guests but is friendly when she meets them. (Please advise beforehand if you do not like dogs and we will not introduce you!)We have 2 grown sons (one of whom also lives in Raglan). We enjoy the beautiful bush and beach walks that Raglan has to offer and we also do a bit of recreational cycling and kayaking. Visits to the pretty little town for a good coffee, or for fish and chips on the wharf, are always good.
Ours is a small subdivision about 15 minutes walk from town. We have a lovely bush walk just below the house, which provides a longer but more scenic route to town. Beaches are close-by and guests are welcome to borrow bikes and kayaks to help them explore the area.
