The house is located 250m off of State Highway 1 on a fully sealed road and is central to Kaikoura's main attractions such as the famous Mangamaunu surfing beaches, seal colony and whale watching Kaikoura township is an 8min drive and Mangamaunu a 5min drive. The house has spectacular mountain and farmland views and is well insulated with double glazed windows which keeps it very quiet, the house is beautifully furnished with mostly solid teak furniture and comfortable lounge chairs and sofas in the lounge, kitchen dining room, upstairs lobby and the main bedrooms, there are four bedrooms all with super king beds and the choice is yours which bedroom you use, three bedrooms are upstairs including the main bedroom that has a smart TV and an office area with device charging facilities and there is a large bedroom on the ground floor with Smart TV, The kitchen dining room has TV controlled by an Amazon Fire TV device, the lounge room has smart TV, there is also another smart TV in the upstairs lobby seating area with spectacular views of the mountains, hills and farmland. There is a balcony with seating upstairs overlooking the farmlands hills and mountains and a gas fired barbecue for your use. the tap water is safe to drink it is sourced from a certified and registered bore and passes through two filtering systems and two Ultraviolet sterilisers, water samples are tested quarterly. We welcome you you on your stay with us and hope you enjoy the comforts Peter who is an ex abalone diver from Western Australia and Tuti originally from Indonesia had lived on Christmas Island for a number of years then moved to Kaikoura in 2004 and opened a restaurant called Tutis Restaurant and Bar located on Beach Road Kaikoura, Tuti was the chef and ran the restaurant with our five daughters, the restaurant was number one on TripAdvisor for the years it was open, we closed it down for earthquake repairs in 2016 then eventually reopened only to supply meals to the Kaikoura 7.8 magnitude earthquake repair workforce known as NCTIR, when the earthquake repairs were completed we decided not to reopen it. Our hobbies are mainly fishing and Peter works on a fishing and rock lobster boat part time.

The house is situated on Farmland that was subdivided in to six 5 acre properties and is located on a sealed private road only 250 metres from the main highway that only services the property owners so traffic noise is not a problem and is centrally located to Kaikōura's attractions the area is quiet and safe.
