Located in a quiet street alongside the Hanmer Forest, Kakapo Lodge is 7 minutes' drive from Thrillseekers Adventures and tours. It is 45 minutes' drive from the Hanmer Springs Ski Area. Accommodation options include self-contained suites, dormitories and private rooms. All rooms offer underfloor heating. Most rooms offer mountain views. Some rooms have a private bathroom, others offer access to shared bathroom facilities.

Please refrain from booking if:
You are planning a celebration involving a significant consumption of alcohol, such as birthdays, rugby events, bachelor & hens parties. While alcohol is permitted, it must comply with a 10 pm curfew.
You are anticipating a lively party atmosphere during your stay.
You provide inaccurate information about the number of individuals checking in.
You plan to host a disruptive, all-night party.
Your behavior is obnoxious and loud, causing disturbances for other guests.
You make it challenging for other guests to enjoy their stay by being rowdy.
You are unable to present a valid ID or credit card details upon request.
Loud music is not permitted.
We do not tolerate disruptive behavior, as our guests choose Kakapo Lodge for a peaceful and relaxing experience.
Failure to comply with these rules will result in immediate eviction, and you will be prohibited from rebooking in the future.
