Upstairs in the main house, are the first two bedrooms sleeping 4 guests, the remaining 2 bedrooms are found downstairs for another 5 guests. Also downstairs a second bathroom and kitchenette are provided, making this an ideal setup for the whole family to holiday together comfortably. Head to the lake just a hop, skip, and a jump from your door and take the Kayak or dingy for a spin. Plus, there are a number of great walking and cycle trails in the area to enjoy. Taupo City or Whakapapa ski field are both just under an hour away, or Turangi is even closer just under half an hour's drive. Put your feet up and relax, this Kuratau Classic has you covered! On the opposite side of the lake to Taupo, Kuratau is a small peaceful town with plenty of outdoor activities on offer. Spend the day out on the water with kayaks, boats and water skis, or go fly fishing for rainbow trout in the Tongariro River. Being further away from the bustle of Taupo, it's also an ideal location for a relaxing holiday to get away from it all.
