Enjoy the evening lounging on the deck and relaxing with other travelers. We have two brand new, identical rooms attached to our family home that can be booked individually or book both if you are traveling as a family or group of friends and want to stay together. There is a shared bathroom and dining area which is used by the occupants of both rooms. The house is 5 minutes walk to town and is in the rear of Tekapo in a quiet residential area away from the noise of the main highway through town. The Cowens hill track is directly behind us which accesses the local regional park.
We are a Kiwi/Asian mixed family with a 10-year-old son and love to welcome travelers to Tekapo and the MacKenzie area. After 20 years of traveling, we are happy to be based in the MacKenzie area and share the stunning views and recreation with people from around the world.
Cross country mountain biking, walking tracks, ice skating, fishing, boating, snow sports, star gazing, hunting, and climbing are all on the doorstep. After all that you can sit in the hot pools at Tekapo Springs and revive the aching body.
