Offering free WiFi and beautiful views of Lake Tekapo and the Southern Alps, Lakeview Tekapo offers 3 self-contained adults-only luxury units as well as a separate 2 bedroom unit. Lakeview Tekapo is located in the Aoraki Mackenzie International Dark Sky Reserve. Mount Cook National Park is a 1-hour drive away. Free off-street parking is provided. Each of these luxury suites enjoy absolute and uninterrupted views of Lake Tekapo, the Southern Alps and the lake’s surrounding mountain ranges. Each of the 3 studios have a sky window for stargazing from your bed, and an en suite bathroom including a shower, heater, underfloor heating, toiletries and a hair dryer. Each suite at Lakeview Tekapo also includes a lounge with quality furnishings and 2 LCD TVs with cable channels and Netflix on demand. Suites have a dining table and chairs, and well equipped kitchen facilities including a refrigerator, microwave, a small bench top oven, electric frying pan, kettle, toaster, and kitchenware. The main house comprises of 2 bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms, a spacious living room and full kitchen. All suites at Lakeview Tekapo are un-serviced, and as such, all consumables initially supplied in your suite on your arrival are for the duration of your stay.

Each unserviced Superior Lakeview Studio enjoys absolute and uninterrupted views of Lake Tekapo, the Southern Alps and the lake’s surrounding mountain ranges. One of the best scenic vistas in Lake Tekapo! All Superior Lakeview Studios have a Super King bed with sky window for stargazing from your bed, ensuite bathroom including shower, heater, underfloor heating, toiletries and hair dryer. Each studio also includes a lounge with quality furnishings, 2 x LCD TVs, Free 2 Air, Netflix, Spotify, Google Home, FREE wireless broadband internet access, air conditioning, dining table & chairs, well equipped kitchen facilities (fridge, microwave, mini benchtop oven/grill, kettle, toaster, utensils, etc) and complimentary off-street carparking. Please note, the information that Lakeview Tekapo requires to ensure a smooth transition from making your booking through to checking-in is; * The private email address you will have access to checking whilst travelling through New Zealand. * The mobile telephone number you will be using whilst travelling through New Zealand. * Credit card details - Visa or Mastercard only (number, expiry date, name on card). For your reference, Lakeview Tekapo is located at marker #55 on the map. Other points of interest and popular activities include (but not limited to): • Church of the Good Shepherd – located on the lakefront, at the end of the peninsular on the eastern side of the Tekapo River. • Mount John Observatory [#5] + Astro Café [#2] – open 9am ~ 6pm daily – entrance off Godley Peaks Road (runs along the western side of Lake Tekapo). • Earth & Sky Stargazing Tours [#84] – contact their office re tour schedules. • Tekapo Springs [#12] – spa, hot pools, summer and winter water/snow activities. • Eateries we recommend are: Astro Café [#2], Kohan [#83], Mackenzie [#76], Rakanui [#17], Reflections [#64], Run 77 [#67], Tin Plate [#81] • Transportation services - available for around town shuttle or tailored tours Ph6806240. • Mt Cook & village – beautiful scenery and walks/tramps from easy to mountaineering – 1.5 hour drive west on State Highway 8. The DOC centre is worth a visit also.
