We invite you to shake off the shackles of a busy life and unwind in Hawke's Bay's idyllic Tuki Tuki Valley.
Nestled behind Te Mata Peak, guests at The Little House will enjoy the charming, rustic surrounds offered by this iconic location. Enjoy private access to a world renowned fly-fishing spot down by the Tuki Tuki river.
I have an obsession with creating beautiful spaces and special experiences. I grew up on this property, and after many years living away, I moved back here in 2020 with my husband Aaron, and our two daughters. We all agree that this place is too beautiful not to share and so we moved an abandoned cottage onto the property and created the Little House. We hope welcome you soon!
Please let us know whether or not you would like to be greeted in person. Most of our guest prefer privacy so we will leave you to enjoy your escape. However, we live on the property and are happy for you to call us on our mobile numbers should you need our assistance.
The Little House is just over the driveway from our family home and is surrounded by working farmland. The Little House is surrounded by working farmland. Moo-ing cows, baa-ing sheep, neighing horses and sometimes barking dogs are to be expected, along with birdsong and possibly even the occasional nocturnal o'possum or snuffling hedgehog. Welcome to the countryside!
We live in one of the most beautiful parts of New Zealand with private views of Te Mata Peak and the surrounding hills, and private access to Tuki Tuki River, which is a world-renowned spot for fly-fishing.
We are surrounded by farmland but minutes away from an excellent espresso bar and a number of wonderful winery restaurants and two of Hawke's Bay's best loved beaches, Ocean Beach and Waimarama. Also a short and scenic drive away is the beautiful Maraetotara Falls.
