Additional sleeping is available in the lounge, with a double sofa bed. This is an easy option for couples and families. For holiday supplies, the local store is a moments walk away, or hit the beach for days in the sand and surf an easy 5 minute walk away - the outdoor shower is ideal after days at the beach! A 10-minute drive from Tutukaka or a 2 hour 25 minute drive from Auckland and you'll find yourself in the marine paradise that is Matapouri. Matapouri is one of those idyllic spots, where every corner you turn you'll find yourself in awe as you stumble upon another azure blue cove lined with Pohutukawa or golden dunes.
