With the best location in town, locally owned On Top Backpackers & Apartments has something for every traveller! Reception is located on the ground floor which doubles as our very own vintage Poolhouse Bar & Café, available for all guests to enjoy throughout their stay. The hostel is a restricted R18 property up two flights of stairs across one level, with 24 hour key card accessibility and the latest security system. We have a variety of rooms ranging from 6-8 bed dorms, private ensuites to newly built furnished apartments. Every room selection offers fresh linen, heating, complimentary continental breakfast, and unlimited highspeed Wi-Fi. Complete with fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities, a beautiful sundeck overlooking the city, luggage storage and parking options, On Top is a Top Spot!!"

"Good location easy to book in. Staff were helpful and accomodation was comfortable and warm. Plenty of eateries around but has a communal kitchen to use. Check out was easy. Buses were 2 mins away. No children which was nice. Clean and cozy."

"Maybe it would seem differently when it's busy but it's probably low season now. So it was not crowded and easy to find space in the kitchen. The room is quite big and the hostel is clean."
