We live in beautiful Wanganui East just a stones throw from Wanganui River and only 1.4km’s from the city’s CBD. In the rear of our garden is an old 22 square meter Art Studio that had fallen into dis repair; During the 2021 we have the opportunity to rebuild the Studio. Our main aim with the rebuild was to try and use recycled materials to create a cosy space for people to come relax and have time out; we think it showcases a small piece of what Wanganui is all about. We love sharing our small cozy cottage and evolving gardens (like any garden they are at their best during the warmer months) with guests both in NZ and overseas. As a BnB we provide a healthy breakfast consisting of:- - 3 cereal options - yogurt - a variety of fresh seasonal fruit - fruit juice - 1 litre lite milk - and a range of hot drinks (We feel we have provided a variety of breakfast options suitable for 99% of our visitors, hence we do not provide food/milk alternatives) Note: We live on site in the main house so if you need any assistance we can be called on. Also note we are a family with pets, namely 2 cats & 2 dogs who will greet you on arrival, if you are not keen on animals this property may not be suitable for you. I am a bit of a home bod these days, my passion is gardening & DIY, you will see on arrival that our house is a work in progress. We are situated in Wanganui East near beautiful Kowhai park. The city centre is a lovely 1.4km (20 minute) stroll away along the banks of the majestic Wanganui River We have loads of lovely cafes, pubs & restaurants to chose from Japanese, Thai, Indian, Mexican, European Definitely pack walking shoes when you come to Wanganui; walking is the best way to see everything we have to offer, the gardens, the river, the artworks, the shops, the artwork on the walls spread through the city centre
