Off grid and unplugged (no wifi here!) our tent has been purposefully designed and filled with unique pieces not only to delight the senses, but to offer optimum comfort and escape. Curl up with a book, enjoy a boardgame, relax in the hot tub or toast s'mores over the outdoor fire. The large 50m2 tent offers a central lounge to relax in with a day bed to one side and the main bed on the other. With a generous sized four-poster bed, fitted with 100% cotton sheets, as well as radiators to keep you toasty, you’re sure to have a comfortable night’s sleep on your romantic glamping escape. The site also features a covered kitchen with bar fridge and BBQ facilities as well as a separate bathroom – complete with a rain shower and eco-friendly products. Outside take a seat in the outdoor dining area which overlooks verdant fields or dip into the outdoor hot tub.

Welcome! Te Taki and I have been hosting since 2020 and thoroughly enjoy sharing our slice of paradise with visitors from all around the world. The overwhelmingly beautiful feedback we have had over the years makes it all worthwhile. We have a self check facility so we encourage you to arrive at your leisure and make yourselves at home. Living close by we are only a phone call or message away should you need us! We love to meet guests so don't be shy if you would like a tour of the facilities or any help with fire lighting! :)

Whether you decide to hunker down in style and not leave the premises, or check out the local attractions you’ll be spoilt for choice. Soak up the sights of the property and meander at your pace to feed the ducks at the pond, choose a book from our book shelf or delve into one of our board games from the cupboard. If you do decide to tear yourself away from this idyllic setting it is only a short 12-minute drive to Waitomo. Once there you can get on the tourist beat and check out the glow worm caves and black water rafting. Peruse the local boutiques and eateries of our closest town of Otorohanga, visit our native bird at the Otorohanga Kiwi House or simply head out for a morning coffee at one of our many local cafes.
