Our boutique holiday cottage sits alongside our home about 40 meters away, in a peaceful high valley in Kuaotunu. We are 5 minutes from glorious beaches. We are bathed in bird song, including Kiwis calling under a starrynight sky, native bush alongside a fresh water stream. We totally respect your privacy as we value ours. We welcome all with no discrimination. Please choose carefully before booking. We value our reviews and work very hard to give you a very unique experience in this very superb location in our beautifully appointed cottage. Please note that the small kitchen is attached and built in but separate, requiring access from outside,fully equipped for simple cooking. Laundry is done for a small charge if required. We aim to make your stay a little extra special than most.:-) We go out of our way to assist you in any way we can and offer you our 50+ years of local knowledge.
We are a small life style quiet adult family that enjoys the privileges of our location. The beach, fishing, hunting, bush walking or vege garden and farm animals. We have lived in this region for over 50 years and come from a 2 generations before. We are loaded with information to assist you and make your experience of this Peninsula amazing.
We are right on the doorstep of some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. New Chum, Otama, Opito and an 40 minute drive to Hot water beach and Cathedral Cove. Famous Coromandel town and beyond. Lots of scenic walks, tours for boating, fishing, site seeing, fun and adventure trips...Truly so much to see and do. If you love nature the outdoors and exploring then you'll be right at home.
