After a busy day fishing, skiing, rafting, mountain biking or hiking the famous Tongariro Crossing come back to River and Ridge Getaway where a peaceful and stylish cottage awaits you.
Relax in the trendy lounge overlooking the garden and the slopes of Mt Pihanga. At night cuddle up in the tv nook next to the cozy log fire or relax with a glass of wine in the evening sun on the deck whilst enjoying the beautiful views. You'll feel a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of your busy life.
The spacious one bedroom cottage is tailored to provide an unhurried haven by offering stylish modern furniture throughout. The cottage was fully renovated in June 2023 and offers a well equipped kitchen and modern bathroom.
The bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed with an electric blanket for the colder nights.
The cottage is located in a quiet cul-de-sac.
We enjoy welcoming guests to Turangi, where the beauty of nature offers both relaxation and adventure. Our getaway provides a comfortable base to unwind, while also being a perfect place to explore all the outdoor experiences the region is known for. We are always happy to share local tips and recommendations to help you get the most out of your visit.
Turangi is an ideal spot as the gateway to Tongariro National Park. Enjoy the extensive hiking and biking trails, There is trout fishing and white water rafting available in Turangi itself as well.
There is a good little New World Supermarket in the township which is just a few minutes drive away.Plenty of take out options are available as well.
