For kids the loft is a great hide out but the steep ladder “ as shown in photos by the property “ definitely is not for anyone who needs to use the facilities at night.”

Settlers Cottage is a beautiful historic pioneer cottage with original Kauri floors, a coal range and three bedrooms (2 in the upstairs attic), as well as a new modern bathroom. Surrounded by world class wildlife reserves, beaches, walks and with the small village of Portobello 5 minutes drive away, you will find this a lovely peaceful spot. Step back in time and relax in our tranquil cottage garden for a few days.
