Our gorgeous wee cottage is very private with a large deck looking out to view of native bush and a pond. Great for bird watchers as we have so many different varieties like tui, fantail, kereru, bellbird and thrush. It has fast wifi and the TV has netflix and SKY. Weber BBQ on the covered deck with outdoor furniture. Spa pool on request.
We have been married for 45 years. Tony grew up on the farm before it was split into rural blocks, of which we now have 8 acres of gardens and ponds. We have created our wedding venue with two accommodations over 25 years from what was just a paddock. I was in sales and was a rep for Pfizer for 15 years and Tony had a scaffolding company for 18 years before retiring. We now love meeting all the guests that stay at our two cottages.
While we are rural, we are only 4 minutes from Coastlands Shoppingtown and 12 minutes from the beach. There are a number of great cafes and restaurants in Kapiti to choose from. There is a golf course about 3 minutes down our road. There are quite a few walks to do around the kapiti area also.
