We are 5 to 10 minutes from some of the best restaurants in the region and just minutes away from surrounding wineries and 20 minutes from the beaches. I love to travel, having worked in the travel industry for 30 years. I am very active and enjoy being outdoors. I walk run ride my bike do yoga and lift weights in the gym. I enjoy good wine and good food and most of all I like having people around me. Our vineyard is a place to relax and enjoy the Greenhough wines with local produce. Hope is a rural community just minutes from Richmond and 20 minutes from Nelson. The small towns of Mapua, Brightwater and Wakefield are also all inside 20 minutes. The surrounding country side is filled with vineyards, apple orchards and gardens. Blueberries and boysenberries can be picked in season. Wineries, craft brewers and restaurants. Craft shops and much more can be found here. Close to three national parks, Great Taste Cycle Trail, beaches and river swimming. The nearest winery, Greenhough, is one of the best in the Nelson region. Open for tastings by appointment. And in winter the Rainbow Ski Field is a short drive away. A car is your best method of transport in this area although cyclists will find safe and flat cycle paths easy to use.
