Welcome to your peaceful escape in the heart of Central Otago. Nestled near the quiet rural settlement of Luggate, just an 8-minute drive from Wanaka, our cosy retreat offers rural views, a large lawn area, open skies, and a true taste of small-town New Zealand. Our guest room is located at the opposite end of the house to our bedrooms, has it's own private ensuite and walk in wardrobe, is north facing and has external access to our outdoor entertaining area. Access to our kitchen and laundry is available on request. Wake up to golden light spilling over the hills, breathe in the crisp country air, and enjoy sun soaked days in summer. By night, stargaze under some of the clearest skies in the region - with minimal light pollution, the Milky Way often steals the show. It is ideal for couples or solo travelers, looking to unwind and reconnect with nature. Whether you're exploring Wanaka’s lakes and trails, skiing at Cardrona or Treble Cone, or simply slowing down in a laid-back, scenic setting, Luggate is the perfect base. Please note if booking with us, our property comes complete with 2 friendly dogs.

We have recently moved to Luggate and are excited to be hosting guests in this beautiful part of NZ. Daz is originally from South Canterbury and Toni has moved from Queenstown, where she hosted guests in her home for 6 years. We enjoy meeting people from across the globe, and hearing their stories. In our free time we enjoy catching up with friends and family, walking our dogs Turbo and Zadie, gardening, home improvements, camping and spending time on the lake in summer.

Our neighbourhood is a hidden treasure, peaceful, safe and friendly. We are within walking distance of the iconic historic Luggate Hotel and scenic walking trails.
