Welcome to the Rabbithole Upper Hutt - your getaway wonderland! The guest house is located on a beautiful and wild 2 acre lifestyle section just outside Upper Hutt. Enjoy the rural feel without having to venture too far! We are on the Akatarawa River with access to a swimming hole, orchard, wild gardens, bush paths and an outdoor lounge area with a pizza oven on the lower level. There's also an outdoor bath (gas fired) and even a finnish steam sauna (surcharge) to enjoy. The property is shared with our home and hosts other guests, but you will have private garden space to enjoy right next to the old swimming pool (meet the goldfish!). We are happy to host your well behaved dogs.

Your hosts are Natalie, Tango and Chacha (her two border collies). Natalie is a self-employed life and executive coach and family mediator, working mostly from home. Ask about my 'me time' retreat options!

We're located only 5 min off SH2 on a 2 acre lifestyle property. We're close to Kaitoke Regional Park (Rivendell), Harcourt Park, Tunnel Gully recreation area with the old railway tunnel to walk through and the Hutt River Trail. Upper Hutt Attractions include Maidstone Maxx, H2O extreme aquatic centre and now Brewtown with restaurants, breweries, an ice skating rink, bowling, go-carting, paint ball and more attractions to come. We're right at the nexus of the Wairarapa Wine area, Wellington and the Kapiti Coast (via Akatarawa Rd) with lots of options for day trips without sitting in traffic.
