We would probably describe ourselves as a social couple who love to interact with a diverse range of people; we are avid recreational fishers who rarely get the chance to go fishing, an electrician with an unmatched sense of humor, and a woman who enjoys using a sledgehammer for home improvement. We place a high value on family and strive to spend as much time as possible with our children, despite the fact that they have all grown up and left home.

With a short 2-minute walk to the beach, you will enjoy the beautiful sands of Coopers Beach and the shore lined with stunning Pohutukawa trees. Just a 2-minute drive away, you will find the majestic little Mangonui, where you will also find the world-famous Mangonui Fish Shop. Grab some fish and chips and dine on the beach. It is truly magical. The local area features a vibrant dining scene, with options ranging from a popular Thai restaurant and a famous fish and chip shop to a restaurant and a highly rated casual dining spot, Jessie's, serving pizza and delicious meals.
