Set in park-like grounds on the shores of Lake Te Anau, 5 minutes' walk from the town centre, Te Anau Lakefront Backpackers has both mountain and lake views from the majority of the rooms. All lounges at the property have lovely views of Fiordland National Park and Lake Te Anau. Free unlimited WiFi is available throughout the property, including in the bedrooms. Additional facilities at Te Anau Lakefront Backpackers include a movie room and indoor and outdoor kitchen facilities, including a BBQ. Laundry facilities and on-site storage are available. If you feel like exploring the surrounding areas, staff can help to organise tours of Milford Sound and glow worm caves or go horse trekking. Transfers can be arranged.
