Enjoy a refreshing morning walk through the village to the ocean, or a stroll towards the Cape and Hygee cafe at Clifton Bay. Or hire our bikes (E bikes and standard bikes are available) and explore further afield on Hawke's Bays extensive trails. Local attractions include internationally acclaimed wineries, Clearview and Elephant Hill, and for the serious wine enthusiast there are an additional 30 plus vineyards located within a half hour drive. Cape Kidnappers itself is famous for the world's largest land based Gannet Bird Colony which can be visited on foot, or overland in air-conditioned comfort through rolling farmland.
