Our cottages are located on our 1000 acre coastal farm. Access is private for guests only therefore lovely private spots on the farm to be enjoyed with your family and loved ones. Our cottages were decorated and prepared for you with much love and care. We are very proud to share our little slice of paradise with you!
We are Alex and Andrea Closs, son and daughter in-law of longtime farmers from the west coast of Golden Bay, NZ. We have been living at Te Hapu and running the holiday cottages since September 2015 and have truly enjoyed meeting all the very interesting people that choose to visit our very remote farm! We are available at anytime if you need any input, or have any questions or just would like to meet us.
We are located in a very remote location so don't expect to be able to visit cafes and restaurants. In the other hand if you are a nature lover this is the place for you. Around the area you will find the Swamp Visitor Centre, Paturau river and Anatori river, along with numerous walks nearby.
