The Church, located in Millers Flat, sits close to the Clutha River and is surrounded by rolling farmland. Anna and Glen Perkins welcome you to their distinctive, luxuriously renovated early1900’s Anglican Church, which offers the best of all conveniences. The property is 80km west of Dunedin airport, and 140km southeast from Queenstown. With the Clutha Gold Bike Trails going past the front door there are numerous options for biking and hiking.
It is the perfect haven for couples seeking a luxurious escape with peace and tranquility, or for small groups to gather and enjoy the beautiful space for reconnecting. The Church, designed to give you the freedom to enjoy your stay, has a separate bedroom, mezzanine and 25sqm covered louvre deck. It is a delightful home away from home – heated for winter and cool for summer.
The Church features wheelchair access to a fully equipped kitchen including a coffee machine and selection of teas. The bathroom has beautiful complimentary toiletries pillowtop beds with premium bedding and down comforters; a flat-screen TV with digital channels; free Wi-Fi and laundry facilities. Bike charge station, with space to rack, clean and maintain your bikes.
The Church is a perfect place to entertain friends, or host team building - a long table with pew inside and a BBQ on the deck, with louvre to protect from sun and enables all season outside eating.
We offer for purchase pre-made meals from a local chef or homemade continental breakfast
Your host is a qualified yoga teacher and can be booked for private yoga classes in the space.
We enjoy the outdoors, and are keen mountain bikers, happy to help you find the right trail for you. The Teviot valley is spoilt for choice.
Out door 33m heated outdoor pool available to use from Oct - April. Key in the church with towels for you to use at your convenience.
