The Whitfield is the earliest part of our Tees Street shop, gallery & apartment complex. It was built in 1865 for the nineteenth century photographer James Iles. The building was added to in subsequent years. The building has Category One Heritage classification as part of the Oamaru Port area.
We are Antique & Arts dealers with our shops, gallery & studio on the ground floor of the building.
We are literally 100 metres from city hall in Oamaru & are surrounded by restaurants, cafes, breweries & galleries with main street shopping all within easy walking distance. The harbour & beach, penguin colony & farmers market also within easy walking distance.
