Paihia is a sought after holiday desitination with activities to suit all ages from Kayaking, Boat Excursions, Parasailing and Helicopter rides for the more active holidays. If relaxing by the beach is more your style it is in walking distance with kilometres of golden sand to laze away beautiful summer days. KeriKeri township and airport is 20 minutes away and an hour will see you in the picturesque Hokianga and a short drive to the magnificent Tane Mahuta. On a day trip you can travel to the end of the island to Cape Reinga and the city of Whangarei is an hours drive from the apartment. But then, who would want to leave Paihia when there is so much to do, or do nothing at all.

Welcome to our apartment He Pai te Wairua by the sea... Myself and Piri were both born in Northland although have lived extensively in other areas of New Zealand and have recently returned to live full time in the North. We have taken on a renovation build recently which has left our apartment in Paihia ready and available for others to enjoy as much as we have. Quiet and peaceful tucked away from the busyness of town and yet all activities and amenities are ready available in a 5 minute walk. We named our apartment He Pai te Wairua by the Sea... this means The Spirit is Good here by the Sea. Paihia itself means.... It is good here..... And it is .
