Our property is situated in the "canal zone" although we are close to the city we our in a quiet safe residential area with a lovely tropical feel. We are very close to Cerro Ancon where you can enjoy a walk directly from the hotel and see sloths, monkeys variety of birds species like Tucans and a fabulous view of the city from the top of the hill. Also close by Casco Viejo the "colonial quarters"of Panama you can see old churches, beautiful buildings and lots of nice restaurants, Amador cause way, Bio museo which tells the story of panama and the Miraflores visitors center where you can see the large vessels begin or end their transit and see the lock gates open and close. You can also enjoy a walk at the metropolitan national park. If you fancy a beach day take the fast ferry to Taboga where you can get a close up of the large vessels waiting in the canal to pass thru the locks .The ferry is a five min taxi ride from the hotel.
