Newly refinished ground level studio apartment conveniently located 3 km from town centre. 'Birds Nest’ sits in a colorful garden at the edge of the jungle a 5 minute walk to a safe swimming beach. Abundant bird and wildlife in the 1/2 acre garden and surrounding forest with monkeys here most days. Included in your stay, guests are invited on the nature tour. We have contacts for tours and guides and we provide general tips on how best to enjoy the islands. We look forward to hearing from you..
I am originally a West Coast gringo now 23 years living in Bocas. Gloria is Panamanian from The City. Gloria is a veterinarian and we operate a small clinic in the neighborhood. We love to travel and continue to venture off as time and funds allow. We enjoy having the cabin and the apartment open to travelers and all the different characters we meet is usually a thrill. Guests feel right at home here, we look forward to greeting you.
The 'Y' is a small working neighborhood mixed with locals and foreigners. There is a 4 wheel and bicycle rental and a small shop with basic food and beer.
Taxis and public transportation are easy to get out on the road. Guests will experience a laid-back country Caribbean vibe out of town away from the main tourist hustle. Close to the beaches and surf breaks.
