Hello, thank you for your interest. It is truly in a spirit of sharing and friendship that I wanted to create Fare Bleu for travelers who appreciate simplicity, kindness, and tranquility.
I have poured my heart and soul into it, and I dedicate all my time to it. I live here and share my days with my lovely guests, my dog, my cats, and my chickens, whom you will also have the opportunity to meet.
Life on an atoll isn't always easy. You must understand that we are on a piece of coral that is at most 300 meters wide. Nothing grows on the coral, or very little. Forget about fruits and vegetables; we don't have any.
On an atoll, there is no running water or sewage system. All the water in the house (shower, sink, washbasin, and toilet) comes from rainwater harvesting cisterns; and unfortunately, it doesn't rain often. There are no mountains to hold back the clouds.
The Fare Bleu is a small guesthouse with limited water storage capacity and a small septic tank. I want to emphasize this point because I see that many travelers don't understand the implications. When we talk about conserving water and being mindful of the septic tank, it's not just a figure of speech.
So, with all my heart, I ask you to please consider whether my accommodation is right for you. If you're attached to your shower routine just to wake up in the morning, if you love lingering in the shower for pleasure, or if, like the guests who just left, you use three rolls of toilet paper in three days, please move on.
And if you understand my message, I would be truly delighted to welcome you and share my time and my paradise with you.
Here, we don't "make do"; we make do "without," but we do it very well and with joy.

Hello, I was born and raised in Tiputa, then spent 30 years in France. Midlife crisis? The day before my 40th birthday, I left Paris to return to this paradise. I would be delighted to share my happiness of living here with you. Peace and tranquility await you, and the little fish in front of the house are very welcoming.
Quiet residential area. The house is located on the lagoon. Snorkeling is available.
Very important: You must use bicycles to get around. There is no other option besides the free bicycles provided.
