The Robert Wan museum is very close. You will learn about how a Tahitian pearl is cultivated and see Robert Wan's exquisite creations. Sunday mornings between 4:30AM-9AM, you can visit our local farmer's market at the marketplace. Local farmers sell fresh produce as well as already-prepared traditional "ma'a Tahiti" or Tahitian food that is only eaten on Sundays because it is prepared in an underground oven for many hours. You will see which fruits and vegetables we grow in Tahiti, smell and taste different authentic flavors from our island and also be able to buy handmade monoi and other Tahitian souvenirs. There are many restaurants around the neighborhood, pharmacies, clinics, supermarkets. There is a beautiful park located across to take a stroll, watch the sunset or exercise. One parking stall is reserved for our guests in a garage on ground level. Other vehicules will need to park along side the road. My husband is a taxi driver and is happy to be at your service if needed. An extra fee if you need to be picked up from the airport or ferry that can be paid directly to him.
