Greetings. This is your host Noemi Pitargue. Welcome to Jungle Gym La Union. Though we are a work in progress, and technically on soft opening; we have already set up our accommodations and have transferred to Elyu some of our exercise equipment from our makati branch: SAV Wellness & Fitness Studio, for you to use and enjoy. Dumb bells, leg weights, forearm weights, Pilates ring, Yoga Ring, Pilates Ball, Step Box, trampoline, ankle weights, ropes, resistance bands, hurdles, etc. We even brought a few belly dance belts if that is your thing. You may request yoga mats from our caretaker Boy. Around the premises are hammocks, Aerial Silk, Swing, Trapeze. In 2025, we will fully simulate what we do in Makati to La Union which is Pole Fitness. That being said, we will have our poles, bars, and other calisthenics equipment in place by end of 2024. But, we will not end there, of course, over and on top of the physical activities we mentioned, we shall offer latin dance aerobics/zumba, yoga & yoga flow, ballroom dancing, and other workshops including massage therapy. Yes, I am also a phsyiotherapist, aside from being a rehab exercise trainer, I also teach pre and post natal moms, and even post stroke patients. My forte is Postural & Joint Alignment. We will fix your poor holding patterns to balance the body and its energy. You can get assessed for free prior to choosing a package. Initially, I shall be a visiting practitioner to Elyu as I share our accommodations with you. Eventually, I shall be stationed in Elyu to attend to the residents and visiting guests. At present, guests enjoy the rustic, environment in Elyu. We are in the untapped area of La Union where you get own the beach for a day or two whilst on staycation. Our place is private and even if there are other guests, you still maintain your privacy; and be able to be balanced in mind, body, and spirit. In our place, you get to experience the truest form of the 5 elements of nature: fire,water, earth, air&space.

At Jungle Gym La Union, you will be able to reassess your fitness goals in terms of short, mid, and long term to contemplate on how to balance your mind, body, and spirit as you incorporate the practice of yoga and pilates with tools amidst nature. Some of the tools we used are ropes, trapeze, silk, trampoline, weights. In 2024 we shall reinstall our poles, bars, hoops, and lollipop just like what we have in Makati. In Makati, we do postural alignment, rehab of injuries, geriatric, pre and post natal bodywork, and addressing musculoskeletal persistent aches and pains. We also undertake massage cupping, acupressure, shiatsu, nuat thai, deep tissue bodywork, trigger point, reflexology therapy, swedish & hilot massage, spine, joint and postural alignment. For cleansing and lymphatic drain; we do lymphatic massaging, body exfoliating scrubbing, body cocooning (body wrapping), facial massage, & foot massage. All these we shall introduce in the Jungle Gym in Wellness & Fitness in Life La Union in 2024. We employ the use of aromatherapy, essential oils & other natural materials. In Elyu, already in place, we shall begin my handing you a Wellness Souvenir Gift Pouch upon arriving. Be surprised with the type of herbal/fruit therapeutic oil that is going to be handed to you by our caretaker together with another surprise item in the pouch. On the fitness side, we are introducing different types of Hype Yoga & different types of Jungle Aerial Arts namely: Piyosilk (Pinoy Yoga Silk), Piyoball (Pinoy Yoga Ball), Piyoro (Pinoy Yoga Rope), Piyoline (Pinoy Yoga Trampoline), Piyoweights (Pinoy Yoga Weights), Piyoha (Pinoy Yoga Hammock), Piyotra (Pinoy Yoga Trapeze), Piyoswing (Pinoy Yoga Swing) (2023) We will introduce Piyopo (Pinoy Yoga Pole), Piyoba (Pinoy Yoga Bar), Piyolo (Pinoy Yoga Lollipop), & Piyohoop (Pinoy Yoga Hoop) (2024). Though we are a "hole in the wall" in La Union and undiscovered, as of now, we are very much nearer the tourist attractions in Elyu versus the famous parts of La Union, including the surf city and the part of La Union with lots of bars and restaurants, and hotels/accommodations. In fact, I could not even count these places as tourist attractions as there are hardly any tourists yet compared to other beach areas such as Boracay, Siargao, and Palawan. Bahay na bato is a place of its own. The art work is just fantastic and awesome. It is an amalgamation of different creative artists showcasing animals, boots, huge frames, tortoise, a lot of tortoise, see life, and even the male genitalia in sculpture. Another near by site to see is the Baluarte, were the locals used to hide for days, weeks and months on end to escape the Japanese during the war. The famous tower leads to the churh which they closed already for safety. It is nostalic and a perfect tower. It also shows the depth of the varied stones La Union holds. The stones are already protected by the LGU as it should be since the water tide is becoming stronger and stronger and it is not safe to swim in this part of La Union. Now, going back to our place, the locals are shy and kind, and generally trust worthy. They are not used to tourists, yet welcome visitors with open arms. They are friendly and hospitable. The beach here is quite a challenge; not too safe for the frail. Still, elderly or the too young, can still enjoy the shore and close to the shore as the waves can really pull you back to oblivion. Keep jumping up and down and go with the flow except to the horizons. The rustic, organic, nature that we offer, away from civilization is actually a leverage for you to recharge, relax & calm, peaceful, feel serenity, & tranquility to be able to reboot and rejuvenate that even a day or two is priceless.
