The Red Hen Homestead ligger i Batangas City, 47 km fra Villa Escudero Museum. Her er gratis wi-fi, aircondition og en udendørs swimmingpool. Dear Guest, Thank you for your patronage. We offer a unique farm stay experience, but with small luxuries and comforts. There is a fully equipped indoor and outdoor kitchen, if you would like to cook your own meals. We serve homecooked meals, using local produce, upon request. If you would like to explore the area, there is a guided hike through Mt, Banoy that you may opt for, or if hiking is not your thing, a visit to the nearby Mt. Banoy vista is suggested. It's a 15 minute drive away and offers 360 views of Batangas. We (the onsite staff and myself) are at your disposal during your stay. We have 3 onsite staff at the property.

Situated at the foothills of Mt. Banoy, in Batangas City, The Red Hen Homestead is a pleasant 2 hour drive from Metro Manila. All day, the cool breeze blows and the sounds of nature are abundant. The house is a modern-native Filipino designed home with vast open areas. There are 4 aircon rooms, 4 indoor baths, one outdoor bath. The home has a fully equipped, indoor kitchen. Enjoy swimming in the 25 meter lap pool, cook outdoors with a brick oven, or explore our permaculture farm. You may also arrange for a hike up Mt. Banoy or for a massage at the property. Our home is designed to be a sustainable farm living experience. We compost food waste and discourage the use of single use plastics. We provide water by the gallons for a fee or you may bring your own 5 gallon jugs. (Please do not bring in single use plastics.) We also encourage that lights and air conditioning must be switched off when not in use. We are in a dense forest area, so there can be a lot of insects and mosquitoes. Please bring insect repellant, and to avoid lots of insects swarming inside the home, please dim the lights because they are attracted to bright lights. We can accomodate a total of 16 persons maximum. Standard number of guests is 10. Activities include hiking, swimming, karaoke (extra add on), massage, bonfire, cooking in a brick oven, feeding chickens, gathering eggs.

Oplysninger om området

We are situated at the foothills of Mt. Banoy. You may arrange for a hike to the peak of the mountain and enjoy 360 degree views of Batangas, Batangas Bay, Mt. Maculot, up until Mt. Makiling and the Lobo mountains and hills. For those who do not want to hike, you can come up to the vista, which is 15 minutes away from the homestead, and enjoy the sunset. The neighborhood is very provinvincial and the nearest wet market is a 20 minute drive away. There is an SM which is a 15 minute drive away.
