One includes shaded seating with a table and chairs, as well as a grill and smoker, perfect for outdoor meals and gatherings.

This is my home away from home, and I’m grateful to share it with others. I spend part of the year here and love welcoming guests in whatever way makes them most comfortable, whether that means hanging out and swapping stories or giving you space to enjoy a quiet getaway on your own. I once dreamed of opening a hostel, and hosting has become the next best thing. When I’m not traveling, I host, and it brings me just as much joy. The neighborhood, El Retiro (Spanish for The Retreat) lives up to its name. Nestled on a hill overlooking downtown, it offers both quiet, upscale living and beautiful views just minutes from the city’s energy. This gated community is home to fewer than 50 large residences and features a private park exclusively for residents. The area is peaceful, with many neighbors being retired professionals, alongside police officers, a chiropractor, a medical doctor, and skilled tradespeople who call El Retiro home. Every morning, you’ll see neighbors out walking, giving the community a friendly and welcoming feel. Visitors often remark that once they’ve experienced El Retiro, they wish they could live here too.
