45 Pines West is a Bed & Breakfast with 4 rooms total: 2 twin/double rooms (adjacent) with a shared bathroom on the ground floor of the main house; and other 2 rooms in the backyard unit, one double room with private bathroom and another room that will be available soon. Also in the main house you'll find a shared lounge area with TV and a fireplace, where you can relax, watch movies, play board games and enjoy breakfast in the morning. In a 2000 m2 property you can also enjoy the garden, the patio and the small pine field. Eat breakfast outside, enjoy the calm and silence of the surroundings, lounge in the sun or contemplate the unique sunsets.

Welcome to our home in the countryside and by the ocean! Our names are Sandra (portuguese) & Stefano (italian) and we will be your hosts during your stay in our property :) Also living with us is Fiona, our very friendly 3 year old chocolate labrador 🐾

Assafora is a village in the northern part of Sintra-Cascais Natural Park near the Atlantic Ocean, located between Sintra and Ericeira. Here we are in the countryside, where you can take a lot of lovely long walks in nature, between hay fields and pine woods, and spot a few old mills. There are several hiking trails in the area, and our house is really close to the route SNT PR9 "Rota das Aldeias". You can also choose and go for a 20 minutes walk to the nearest beach - Praia da Vigia - where you can take your time to watch the spectacular landscape and absorb the immensity of the cliffs; and with the best weather conditions you can even see Cabo da Roca and Berlengas islands in a distance. These cliffs are also an amazing place to enjoy the beautiful sunsets over the ocean. Going down to the beach is not for everyone, because the path is very steep, and for that reason you won't find a lot of people there (not even surfers!). We are also located really close to another beach, Praia de São Julião. With a 5 minute drive you arrive to an extensive sandy beach, easily accessible and with several facilities, where you can sunbathe, unwind by the sea and catch some waves! (a lot of times it's possible to rent surf equipment and ask for lessons at the beach entrance).
