The TYPICAL ADOBE COTTAGE is located in the foothills of the Serra do Buçaco, in the center of Bairrada. In an old farm, the safeguard house and granary, built in old fashion way with adobe blocks placed on the top of the other, as well as the cornfield were adapted, becoming a charming small cottage and swimming pool, ideal for relaxing in a rural ambiance, that you can explore on foot or cycling. Additionally, it takes 5 minutes to the Spa and Golf and 30 minutes to the seaside Beach, by car. This quiet country space combines the sun, the typical gastronomy (roasted piglet, sparkling wine and Mealhada characteristic bread), the pure waters of the TERMAS DO LUSO (SPA), the golf of CURIA, and the landscape, biological and historical richness of the BUÇACO FOREST. The city of Coimbra with its old University, the Mira seaside Beach and the Wine Cellars, namely the ALIANÇA UNDERGROUND MUSEUM, are places of interest in about 20 km distance. Additionally, the Portuguese pilgrims' Way of Saint James, accessing to Santiago de Compostela to the north (about 360Km on foot ) and Fátima to the south (about 120 Km on foot), passes through the village in a 5 minutes walking distance
