We are Miguel and Shannon, a Portuguese-American family residing in the beautiful city of Lisbon. A few years ago, during the pandemic, we embarked on a joint venture in the realm of short-term rentals. With an abundance of time to dream and plan, we delved into this endeavor driven by the allure of "passive income." Moreover, as tech professionals, we sought a tangible outlet for our creativity, unlike our usual tech work where results are often intangible. Our guiding principle in designing these houses is love. We strive to create spaces that exude love and attention, ensuring our guests feel a warm embrace during their stay. Our ultimate goal is for you to feel smothered with care and comfort.

We opened our dream holiday home in May this year. My husband and I wanted to create a space where we could invite all our friends and family to stay with us - comfortably and with style. We also wanted the house to be close to the beach and to the city. We found that sweet spot in Oeiras. While this house is for larger groups, no parties are allowed. No noise outside after 22h00. No music by the pool. The space The capacity of common space: >> Indoor dining: 14 people >> Outdoor dining: 16 people + 4 bar seats >> Co-working area: 3 fixed desks + 2 portable desks >> Living room seating: 12 people >> Jacuzzi: 5 people Bedrooms: The house has 6 bedrooms and 9 divisions. Three of the bedrooms are split into two rooms. This means you have more privacy, but less space in some of these rooms (the photos make the rooms look larger than they actually are). The three internal rooms (no windows) are well-ventilated and have two doors – one door to the adjoining room and one door to the hallway. Airconditioning & Heating: The house has air conditioning in two bedrooms (the suites) and in the living room. The remaining 7 rooms have fans. Despite limited air conditioning, the house stays pretty cool in the summer as it's concrete with 6 of the bedrooms partially underground. For winter, we have central heating throughout the house.

Welcome to Paço de Arcos, the neighbourhood where serenity meets charm! Paço d'Arcos is not just a hidden gem itself; it's also the perfect launchpad for exploring the wider region. Hop on a train or take a quick drive to Lisbon. Or venture westward to the charming town of Cascais, famous for its beautiful beaches, picturesque marina, and mouthwatering seafood restaurants. Within a 2-minute walk of the house, there are two neighborhood pastelarias (cafe/ bakery). Within a 10-minute walk, you have more local commerce. Keep in mind that the house is on top of a hill so getting to the shops is a breeze, but returning will leave you a tad out of breath (Ubers are very easy to catch in this zone). The neighbourhood is quiet and residential (it's where actual locals live) which is why we are so strict on noise and parties. The house is optimized for a city holiday as well as a beach holiday.
