In a 17th-century building, Belomonte 22 Apartments Porto World Heritage combine original beams and stone walls with modern design. In Porto’s historic centre, they are 6 minutes’ walk from Ribeira Square by the Douro River. Offering free broadband Internet, the studios are accessed via a brightly coloured staircase. Each has large windows, wooden floors and a private bathroom with free toiletries. Some overlook Porto Cathedral and one has a terrace. All include a kitchenette with microwave, fridge and stove. Free olive oil, vinegar and teas are provided. There are several stores 1 minute’s walk away and lots of restaurants and bars within a 10-minute walk. Porto Cathedral is a 5-minute walk away, while the main square at Avenida Aliados is less than 10 minutes’ walk. São Bento Station is a 6-minute walk from Apartments Belomonte, and provides train and Metro links throughout the city.
