In 2008, Andre and Brigitte discovered the ruin that stole their hearts. Some 5 years of loving restoration later, they gave up their old lives in France and opened Canto De Luz, our luxury Maison. In 2019 they retired, and I have taken La Maison into my hands to build on the amazing reputation they have built with over 350 5* star reviews and Traveller's choice 2019 property. Hiding behind the traditional facade of an elegant merchant townhouse in the centre of the Old Town is a beautiful soaring modern atrium that welcomes you, our friends and guests, to your home from home here in Porto. I love to bake, so our breakfast, which changes daily, is homemade and wherever possible organic, using freshly sourced local ingredients from Porto's markets.
