Located in an old part of the city, near Carmo church, my house offers 2 floors (a lot of steps!) and a cosy ambience. The house decoration is modern and is equipped to provide the guests a pleasant stay. It offers 2 terraces, one on the ground floor allowing al-fresco meals, and the top one where you can relax, enjoy nice views to the town and admire the storks and their nests! Casa da Avó means grandmom's house, I hope you can enjoy it as we do!

I like to travel a lot! Cruises are my passion, as each day is a discovery in a different port and unique places. Jogging, reading, cinema, theatre, music - these are my hobbies as well as spend time with my granddaughters. I will try the utmost that my guests have a pleasant stay.

Faro has a lot to visit: old center, churches, marina, museum, theatres. The beach is an Island close to the airport. You can take a boat or bus to get there. Ria Formosa area, including the desert island worth a visit by boat. There are a lot of restaurants and bars. On the pedestrian area visit the local shops or try the shopping center for more options at the entrance of Faro. From Faro you can easily travel around and visit all the beautiful and historical places the Algarve has to offer. You can even take the train and go to Lisbon for a day.
