What makes our Property special is the fact that it conjugates an absolute rural and chill environment with the proximity (10 minutes on foot) to a small and cozy urban center (Cabeceiras de Basto). The Property is abolutely private, its arquitecture is modern, it contains a lot of windows (which allow a lot of solar expositon), and also is surrounded by a nice and green garden, which the guests are most welcome to use and explore in a peaceful way.

Our purpose is simples: allow our guests to create memories that they will be able, during a lot of time, to remember!

The place of Casa do Outeiro has absolutely rural characteristics, and it presents great tranquility and security. Although absolutely privacy, Casa do Outeiro is located just 3km away from the town center where it is possible to purchase all the supplies needed for a stay. In the heart of the village there is a magnificent monastery of the extinct Benedictine Order, which features a baroque architecture (noteworthy is the wood carving in the interior) - not to be missed, especially the figures of the devils in the central body. Next to the monastery there is a small museum called "Casa do Tempo", which describes the morphological characteristics, fauna and flora prevalent in the municipality, and most important, which characterizes its people. There are a lot of beautiful pedestrian routes through mountains, valleys and rivers near Casa do Outeiro. There are marked and mapped routes both in the municipality of Cabeceiras de Basto and in the neighboring municipalities, a few minutes by car, namely Vieira do Minho, Fafe and Ribeira de Pena. There is also a pedestrian and cycle path along the Tâmega River, which is about 50km long.
