Do you want to live a real experience in a Pateo "Alfacinha"? It is a small house, very cozy, simple, in a typical courtyard, in the Alfama district. It has: 1 bedroom with double bed, 1 bedroom with a single bed, a living room with sofa bed. The house is very small so it is recommended reduced luggage. It is equipped with hair dryer, toaster, coffee maker, juicer, oven, microwave, induction hob and has the necessary dishes for cooking. No dishwasher. No washing machine but you have a self-service laundry next to the apartment. The cleaning and replacement of linen is weekly. The house has bed linen and towels. If you intend extra bed linen and bedding, ask in advance and has an extra charge.
Guests are welcomed by me or one of the elements of my team. All monitoring will be done via SMS, WhatsApp or directly as needed. We want every guest becomes part of Lisbon. We give you information and recommendations to provide a better stay! The House is managed by the Team of the Royal Prince Hostel, located at Rua da Palmeira nr. 20 (Principe Real).
The neighborhood "Alfama" is a pearl in Lisbon, is the oldest and typical. Alfama is a very peculiar neighborhood resemble an old village not only in appearance as to have a relatively small and close community. The neighborhood is visited daily by Portuguese and foreign tourists and is considered as the safest of all the city of Lisbon. It is known for its restaurants and fado houses, as well as the festivals of the Popular Saints, especially on the night of St. Anthony, from 12 to 13 June. The most spectacular views of Alfama have been the promenade formed by the viewpoints of Portas do Sol and Santa Luzia. Above and surrounding the Alfama are the hill of the São Jorge Castle, fortress and royal palace until the sixteenth century, and the hill of Saint Vincent. Besides the castle, the main area of the monuments are the Cathedral, the Church of St. Stephen and the Monastery of São Vicente de Fora. The latter near the Casa do Pátio.
