Our house follows a traditional trait and is decorated accordingly. It has been in our family for three generations and sits in a quiet area in Vila Franca do Campo, where the best beaches of São Miguel are located along with Islet’s Natural Reserve. The house dates from early XXth century and has a rural and traditional matrix. It was remodelled and upsized respecting its original traits and still maintains its original character given buy the cover deck made of regionally produced ceramic tiles and floors of basalt stone. Bedroom floors in solid wood. All divisions are wide and open, with high ceilings and lots of natural lighting. This house is classified as T2 (portuguese classification corresponding to two bedrooms) and holds a wide living room with sitting and meal preparation areas, kitchen and a full bathroom. The garden can be reached via living room and kitchen areas. Guests will be granted full access to the house, including appliances, furniture and all utensils. Access to the full garden exterior is also included; Outdoor tables, chairs, parasols and barbecue equipment will also be available.

We are very happy and proud to receive our guests, so we can pick up at the port or airport any guest who requires transportation or general information about what to do, what to visit and where to eat during his stay on the Island.

Vinha da Areia beach, the Aquapark and the Marina of Vila Franca do Campo are located 10 min on foot from our house. It is also in this area that a boat can be taken to the Ilhéu de Vila Franca do Campo. Água D'Alto beaches are 5 min by car. The house is located in a very quiet part of Vila Franca do Campo with easy car access from the highway (SCUT) or through the village on foot or by car. Rua da Paz leads to a viewpoint with easy parking spots, Ermida de Nossa Senhora da Paz. In addition, at the house two cars can be parked. Should the guests prefer public transportation, the house is located ca. 5 min on foot from the nearest bus stop.
