Casas da Maria is the name given to pay tribute to my grandmother. Maria was her name and this was her house. She loved the countryside and her beach house. We grew up here so it's a house full of stories. Here you can find a cosy place where you can connect with nature. It's the right place to rest and recharge batteries. It's spacious with plenty of light. It has one suite and two doubled bed rooms, equipped with comfortable linen and connected with the countryside. The kitchen is very large and well equipped with all appliances needed for a stay like as it was your own home. A large living room gives place for a relaxed chat with your friends or family and if needed, the children can watch cable TV. Equipped for your comfort has a decoration that pretends to be simple, with elements that connect the countryside allied to the comfort of a quality stay. The house has a large landscaped green spaces that allows the contact with nature and the conviviality in family including: a large lawn where the family can play soccer or just being laid down sunbathing, a barbecue with all the appliances including cutlery to enjoy a meal outdoors and large sofa for a relaxing stay.

We are a family that loves to be outdoors and travel. We like to welcome our guests as friends and not as a “hotel guest”. Be welcome and enjoy our place like it was your own home.

A little more than 7 km away from the village of Sintra with the Pena Palace and the Castle of the Moors on the horizon, Casas da Maria is located in a perimeter accessible to various points of interest around Sintra, neighbour Cascais and 30 km away from Lisbon. Around those locations, you can find amazing beaches, great monuments, natural parks and also great food. The house combines a good stay and the easy access to main spots for sightseeing and to depict the best places in Portugal.
