A secluded retreat surrounded by unspoiled forests, Eira do Serrado overlooks the Valley of the Nuns and the picturesque village of Curral das Freiras. It provides a wellness centre with indoor pool, hot tub, fitness room, sauna and turkish bath, and outdoor activities. Rooms at Estalagem Eira do Serrado open out onto private balconies with stunning views of the natural surroundings. Each has wooden floors, en suite bathrooms and a TV set. Guests can enjoy local cuisine from Madeira Island at the hotel's restaurant. Drinks and refreshments are served in one of the most visited viewpoints of the island. Other in-house facilities include a games room with billiards. There is also a gift shop selling traditional artefacts from the picturesque village of Curral das Freiras. Estalagem Eira do Serrado is situated 12 km from Funchal. The hotel can arrange a transfer upon request and provides free private parking.
