This house has been in our family for more than 60 years, leaving a scent of life together, of a typical house from Algarve, and it means much love to all of us. Albufeira was born in that area and this house was one of the first in the city! It has been remodeled but is still a typical Algarve house. A little bit of our history: My grandparents met in these streets of Albufeira and dated for a few years until marrying together. My grandad was in Africa and my grandmother in Albufeira when their wedding happened at a distance, so my grandmother signed the papers and went to see my grandad at Porto Alexandre - Angola. They lived there for a few years, worked very much, and had a dream, a baby boy, Fernando (my father). They came back to Portugal when Fernando was 3, and they had invested in this little house by the sea, their first house. Here Fernando was raised, and years later joy arrived, a baby girl, Ana Maria. .Important Stuff you need to know: 1. Absolutely NO SMOKING inside the house! This will lead to extra charges, and you can smoke on the balcony/outside; 2. No parties inside the house; 3. Please do not throw anything through the windows/balconies, including cigarette butts (there is an ashtray for them); 4. No additional guests inside the house than the amount listed on our original reservation. Extra guests need to be notified to us; 5. Please place things like toilet paper and sanity napkins in the sanitary bin we've provided in the bathroom; 6. Accidents happen, but we do ask that you please let us know when they do; 7. Be careful with noise after 10 pm, since there are neighbors that work. No loud music after that hour; 8. Please use de AC with responsibly, do not put the temperature higher than 24/lower than 20, and just use the cool/heat mode (do not use auto mode). I have studied Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations in Lisbon. I was born in Albufeira, and after seven years studying and working in Lisbon, I decided to come back to my beloved hometown to live and work. I love life at the beach, and being with my family.
