Located within 1.5 km of Lisbon’s historical downtown, Like Home – Santos is 700 metres from the Tagus River. The unit is just 650 metres from Santos Train Station. My name is Luis and because I love to travel I start using booking in my trips. Some years ago I felt in love for this old building that was in need of a complete restauration and because of its great location it came to my mind that I could do the same thing in Lisbon that I have seen in many other places; rehabilitate an old building and rent the apartments for short stays in order to finance the renovation. Thanks to booking I now receive guests from all over the world. This is great as I’m doing something I like very much and at the same time meeting new people everyday

Like Home Santos is located in Madragoa, an authentic charming old quarter that hasn't yet become touristy and from where you can easily reach by foot Lisbon's main attractions We have several renovated apartments with modern amenities located in a renovated building in the old Madragoa neighborhood. This location is very close to Museu de Arte Antiga and in a walking distance of Bairro alto and city centre. The location and the care we take make our listings unique. The guest will feel like home.

Madragoa is a typical quarter from Santos that resembles Bairro Alto in many ways (labyrinthine streets, charming old buildings, many traditional restaurants and cafés) but is far less touristy. From here you can easily walk anywhere you like in central Lisbon - Baixa, Bica, Chiado, Cais do Sodre, Bairro Alto - and the walk will be pleasant and beautiful. The area is great: small roads in a hill near the river and town centre with lots of things to do and see. This typical neighborhood was once occupied by fisherman and fish vendors. It is starting to be occupied by artists and young people but you can still fell the popular spirit around. At a walking distance you have bars restaurants, supermarket and several museums, Come along and enjoy Lisbon like a local.
