Living Coimbra Corpo de Deus is a set of independent apartments, designed for your safety while spending a few days on holiday. The apartments are located in the historical centre of the city of Coimbra. 100 meters away you will find markets, shops and restaurants. All the apartments have been totally renovated and include Wi-Fi, cable TV and air conditioning. Some apartments also have a small private terrace so you can pleasantly sunbathe.
Hello welcome to Coimbra. My name is Joel and I am your host. Traveling around Coimbra means traveling through time. Our city is rich in history and culture. Coimbra is also a great city to stay and visit the entire downtown region. Less than an hour's drive away, you can explore the breathtaking landscapes of the Serra da Lousã with its typical Schist Villages, the long sandy beaches of the Costa de Prata or smaller towns like Aveiro, Águeda, Tomar or Viseu. I hope to have the opportunity to receive you soon.
In Medieval times, the Old Jewish Quarter and the old Synagogue were located in this street. If you are physically fit you can visit the whole city and its major points of interest on foot. The city is divided between uptown and downtown, so you will find many up and downhill areas; luckily, 50m away you find a lift that connects both zones. A 10 minute walk is enough to reach the banks of the Mondego River or the famous Coimbra University, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take the opportunity to visit the Monastery of Santa Cruz, the Machado de Castro Museum, the Old Cathedral, the Major Seminary, the Botanical Garden, the Quinta das Lágrimas, the Monastery of Santa Clara-a-Velha or the Portugal dos Pequenitos. Coimbra also has many parks, where you can rest, appreciate the greenery or even practice sport. Let yourself go and enjoy the streets of Coimbra, among the students’ cloaks and cassocks, fado or serenades, take the remarkable opportunity to live the true academic spirit. By the end of your stay, you'll surely think that it wasn’t enough, because, as the famous song goes, Coimbra is even more enchanting, when it’s time to say farewell.
