We believe that travelling is a way of living. We are trying to make our guests have the experience we would like to have as travelers. We believe that showing our city and country is part of our mission as Portuguese people. If our guests leave Coimbra with good memories, it means that we've accomplished our mission. We can't promise you will have a perfect experience in our house and city... But we guarantee that we will do everything we can to make it perfect! :)

Our home is a traditional home located in Covilhã, close to the mountains. You can take long walks on the beautiful hills during the summer or enjoy winter sports during the winter. Its privileged location offers a peaceful escape, a comfortable environment and just minutes from wonderful landscapes, restaurants and traditional shops. Whatever period you choose to visit us, we are sure that you will have a great time here! It is an old country house with a spacious living room, where there is a beautiful fireplace (which in winter gives a very cozy atmosphere), kitchen with fridge and freezer, stove, oven, microwave and washing machine crockery, a recently renovated bathroom with shower and two bedrooms with a double bed. We also have a sofa bed in the living room. Outside we have a stone table and a large garden with fruit trees: perfect for al fresco dining, enjoying the sun during the day ... and the stars at night! Additional rules: -Since 2015, according to the Portuguese law, it is mandatory for us to communicate to SEF (Portuguese Immigration and Borders Service) the following data about our guests: Full name Date of birth Country of birth Home address Country of residence Nationality Identity document Number of document Issuing country Date of arrival Date of departure By booking our house you agree to provide this data in the moment of check-in. -Only guests mentioned in the booking are allowed to stay in the house. -Smoking is not allowed inside because we welcome children and non smokers very often. -When you leave the house, please switch off all the electronic devices. Don’t forget to close the windows, and the door…even if you go out for only a few minutes. -The house should be left clean and tidy. -Failure to comply with these rules may give rise to expulsion from Casa da Quinta, with no right to reimbursement of any amount. -Additional fees may be charged in case of any damage, too much dirt in the house, unregistered guests or smoking inside.

The house is located in a residential area close to the center of Covilhã (a city with all the services that a city can offer) and just a 37-minute drive from skiing and other winter sports.
